The School of Foreign Languages was established in July 2022.It mainly undertakes the teaching tasks of all professional foreign language courses and international exchanges and cooperation.
There are 42faculty members in our school, including 11 associate professors and 29 with master's degree or above. It is a high-level teaching team with noble morality, first-class teaching level, strong scientific research ability and with reasonable professional title structure, age structure and educational background structure. Our school undertakes the organization of National English Contest for college students and National Vocational Students Skills Competition (Oral English competition), and carries out various second-class activities for students.
Our college has signed friendly cooperation agreements with more than 20 foreign universities, and carried out short-term study visits, cooperative training, teacher training, exchange study tours and other cooperative exchange projects.In 2019, it signed a cooperation agreement with the Herzing University in the United States, and now it has enrolled 261 students in six sessions.In 2022, an international cooperation framework agreement on vocational education was signed with Thailand's Ulong Thani Vocational College. Currently, 52 Thai students have been enrolled. Two overseas branches have been established: the Xingzhi College - Thailand Branch and the Xingzhi College - Malaysia Branch of Anhui Vocational and Technical College. In 2024, the school became the landing school for Thailand's vocational education standards, resource construction base, and teacher training base for the Modern Logistics Management major. In 2025, it obtained certification for 6 courses in the Modern Logistics Management major in Thailand.
In 2020 to 2024,the Vocational Education Committee of the Ministry of Education of Thailand awarded the College Outstanding Contribution Award for International Cooperation in Vocational Education between China and Thailand. In 2019 and 2020, the College has been selected twiceas one of the "Top 50 Influential Vocational Colleges in Asia-Pacific" , and in 2021, it washonored as "Advanced Unit in Education and Foreign Affairs in Anhui Province". In 2023, the college was selected as a star college in the 2023 Asia-Pacific Vocational College Influence Index Assessment and named into the list of 2023 Asia-Pacific Vocational College Characteristic Cooperation Demonstration Projects.In 2024, the college was approved as the second phase of the Sino-German Advanced Vocational Education Cooperation Project (SGAVE) by the Ministry of Education.In 2024, the college was honored with the title of EducationPlus2024 Typical College for Vocational Education International Exchange and Cooperation. In the same year, it was awarded the Outstanding Case of International Exchange and Cooperation in 2024 and the Outstanding Member Unit of 2024 by the China-CEEC Vocational Education Industry-Education Alliance. In 2024, the college became one of the founding members of the China-Pakistan International Industry-Education Cooperation Alliance. In 2025, the school became an executive director unit of the China-Uzbekistan Vocational Education Alliance, receiving the Annual Contribution Award issued by the Anhui Province Vocational Education International Development Alliance and the China-Malaysia Education International Cooperation Outstanding Contribution Award issued by the China-Malaysia Industry-Education International Cooperation Center.
